Creating safer communities is a shared responsibility. Whether responding to bias, harassment, interpersonal harm, mental health concerns, or substance-related emergencies, individuals play an important role in supporting one another and fostering cultures of care.

Resilient Pathways equips participants with practical skills to recognize situations of concern, intervene safely, and contribute to communities where people feel supported, connected, and valued.

Recognizing & Responding to Student Concerns

Supporting Early Intervention and Connection.

Many individuals experience challenges long before they seek help. This training prepares participants to recognize signs of distress, engage in supportive conversations, and connect individuals with appropriate resources.

Participants Will:

  • Recognize signs of emotional, behavioral, and academic distress

  • Develop confidence initiating supportive conversations

  • Understand when and how to refer individuals for additional support

  • Learn strategies for responding with empathy and care

  • Promote a culture of early intervention and community responsibility

Ideal For: Faculty, Staff, Student Leaders, Resident Advisors, Peer Educators, Supervisors, and Community Organizations

Format: 90 - 2 Hours Minutes | Virtual or In-Person

Healthy Relationships: Understanding Power, Control & Consent

Promoting Respect, Safety, and Healthy Connection

Healthy relationships are built on communication, mutual respect, boundaries, and consent. This interactive training explores relationship dynamics and equips participants with practical tools to recognize unhealthy behaviors and support safer communities.

Participants Will:

  • Identify characteristics of healthy and unhealthy relationships

  • Explore power, control, and their impact on relationships

  • Strengthen understanding of affirmative consent and boundaries

  • Recognize warning signs of interpersonal harm

  • Develop skills to support peers and promote community well-being

Ideal For: Students, Student Leaders, Residence Life Staff, Faculty, Staff, Community Organizations, and Prevention Professionals
