Recognizing & Responding to Student Concerns
Supporting Early Intervention and Connection.
Many individuals experience challenges long before they seek help. This training prepares participants to recognize signs of distress, engage in supportive conversations, and connect individuals with appropriate resources.
Participants Will:
Recognize signs of emotional, behavioral, and academic distress
Develop confidence initiating supportive conversations
Understand when and how to refer individuals for additional support
Learn strategies for responding with empathy and care
Promote a culture of early intervention and community responsibility
Ideal For: Faculty, Staff, Student Leaders, Resident Advisors, Peer Educators, Supervisors, and Community Organizations

Healthy Relationships: Understanding Power, Control & Consent
Promoting Respect, Safety, and Healthy Connection
Healthy relationships are built on communication, mutual respect, boundaries, and consent. This interactive training explores relationship dynamics and equips participants with practical tools to recognize unhealthy behaviors and support safer communities.
Participants Will:
Identify characteristics of healthy and unhealthy relationships
Explore power, control, and their impact on relationships
Strengthen understanding of affirmative consent and boundaries
Recognize warning signs of interpersonal harm
Develop skills to support peers and promote community well-being
Ideal For: Students, Student Leaders, Residence Life Staff, Faculty, Staff, Community Organizations, and Prevention Professionals
